Privacy Notice

1. Who handles your information

LR Digital operates Veggful and is responsible for deciding how your personal information is used. The operator contact email and postal address are awaiting confirmation. This notice must be completed with those details and reviewed before being relied on as a final legal notice.

2. Information we collect

• Your email address and sign-in information.
• Your username, display name and any profile picture, bio, website or social links you provide.
• Recipes, images, private notes, saved recipes, collections, ratings and follows.
• Private recipe invitations, recipient responses, notifications and notification preferences.
• Moderation reports, actions and records of the Terms version you accepted and Privacy Notice version you acknowledged.
• Technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request and error information.

3. Why we use it

We use account and recipe information to provide the service you request, including sign-in, your cookbook and private invitations. This processing is necessary to perform our agreement with you. We use relevant information for our legitimate interests in service security, preventing abuse and operating moderation, balanced against your rights. We may also process information to comply with legal obligations.

Acknowledging this notice is not consent to all processing or to marketing. Any processing that requires optional consent must be explained and requested separately.

4. Public and private information

Profiles, including usernames, display names, photos and bios, are publicly readable. Following relationships and published recipes are also public. Keeping recipes private does not make your profile private.

Private recipes, notes, saves and collections are restricted according to their access settings. A private invitation contains a recipe snapshot visible to its participants. Acceptance creates a recipient-owned private copy; your private notes are not included. That copy can survive edits or deletion of the original.

Authorised moderators can access recipe information needed for moderation, including non-public recipes. Private does not mean inaccessible to authorised administration or legal processes.

5. Services and external content

Veggful uses Lovable Cloud for hosting, account services, data and file storage, and supporting service providers to deliver sign-in emails. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to address abuse or legal claims.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Some recipe images are loaded from external websites, which may receive technical connection information when your browser requests them. External links take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Provider locations, any international transfers and the applicable safeguards still require confirmation by LR Digital before this notice is finalised.

6. Storage and retention

We use browser storage to maintain your sign-in session and essential service settings. We do not ask you to consent to essential sign-in storage as if it were optional tracking.

We retain account information while it is needed to provide your account. Account deletion is available in Settings. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal claims or legal obligations; accepted recipe copies and shared activity may remain independently of your account. LR Digital still needs to confirm specific retention periods and backup deletion arrangements.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. You can edit your profile and notification preferences in Settings.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. LR Digital’s direct privacy contact will be added once confirmed.
